A PRAYER THAT GOD ALWAYS ANSWERS

Would you like to pray a prayer that God promises to always answer? A prayer that will help you

navigate through life everyday regardless of what may come your way. Then listen to the words of

James, “If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and He will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking” (James 1:5 NLT). Notice the promise that God makes “He will give it to you.” This is a guarantee that God will answer this prayer again and again. Therefore, you can pray for wisdom everyday of your life and God will answer this prayer.

As believers we do not have to grope around in darkness hoping that we might stumble across the right answer. James tells us that all we must do is ask for God’s wisdom to guide our decisions. God’s wisdom has three distinct characteristics:

1) It is a practical wisdom – God’s wisdom is a practical tool by which we overcome the trials and

temptations of life.

2) It is divine – God’s wisdom begins with us respecting God, living by God’s direction, and gives us the ability to tell right from wrong.

3) It is Christlike – God’s wisdom leads us to ask to be Christlike. Paul tells the Corinthian church that “But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24 NLT).

Everyday wisdom is available to all believers. All believers must do is ask God for it. God has given all believers biblical assurance that wisdom is available to them today. If you need wisdom for secret struggles, relationships, or work, ask God and He will give you all that you need to live a life that pleases and glorifies God.
